Arnault oversees a luxury empire whose brands include Dom Perignon, Bulgari, Louis Vuitton, Thomas Pink and De Beers. This fall the billionaire taste-maker to the world appointed his daughter to executive vice president of Louis Vuitton, the second of his children to take a leadership role in the company -- his son Antoine runs the shoemaker Berluti. Arnault hopes to open his new Frank Gehry-designed museum, Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation, in Paris by 2014.
